Walt Disney World has blocked all new theme park reservations for Wednesday, Oct. 9 when Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall, according to WDW News Today. Reservations remain available for the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Epcot on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Thursday, Oct. 10.

Extra fees may not apply "if hurricane warning is issued by National Hurricane Center for Orlando area — or your place of residence — within 7 days."

According to the weather section of the Disney World website, the park's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, the Copper Creek Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close starting Wednesday.

All of the major theme parks said they were closely monitoring Hurricane Milton and would be updating their closure plans as needed.
