Milton now expected to become a Category 4 hurricane before Florida landfall
Right now, all of the the global and hi-res models are in agreement in taking this one east, across the Gulf toward the western Florida coast. With the 4 p.m. update, the National Hurricane Center expects it to become a major Cat. 4 hurricane. Maximum sustained winds are at 85 mph and it's moving to the east at 7 miles per hour.
