Florida theme park officials are monitoring Hurricane Milton's forecast, but most have yet to announce closures ahead of a forecast landfall on Florida's Gulf Coast Wednesday as a major hurricane.

Tropical storm Milton is expected to come ashore near Tampa as a Category 5 hurricane. It will then cut across Florida and hit several theme parks, all in or around Orlando, home to Univeral Orlando.

On Monday, Milton strengthened into a Category 5 hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico near the Yucatán Peninsula. It is still unclear where the storm will make landfall. Still, several models consistently show the Tampa Bay area as a high-risk zone.
