MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WTVA) — Matt Woods won Tuesday’s election for Alabama Senate District 5. The Republican won 86% of the vote over Democrat Ryan Cagle. The district covers Lamar, Fayette and Walker counties, as well as parts of Tuscaloosa and Jefferson counties.
