Police are investigating a shooting involving several officers in Plano. It happened around 4:45 p.m. at the MAA Los Rios Apartments in the 4700 block of 14th Street near Los Rios Boulevard in Far East Plano.

Police said the woman’s behavior resulted in a shooting that involved officers. Police did not specify what behavior led to the shooting or say how the woman was wounded. Officers rendered aid to the woman, who was taken to a hospital where she later died. Her identity was not released.
