CARDIFF, Wales (AP) — Oasis ended a 16-year hiatus on Friday with a punchy, powerful trip through one of Britpop’s greatest songbooks, kicking off a reunion tour in Cardiff, Wales to a crowd ecstatic for the band’s 1990s hits.

The show was the first of the Live ‘25 tour, which will run for 41 dates — 19 of which are in the U.K. and Ireland. The group will perform Saturday night (July 5) in Cardiff before heading to Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin; the tour will then run through North America, Asia and Australia and conclude in São Paolo, Brazil, on Nov. 23.

Oasis are expected to sing 23 songs in total at the shows based on the first setlist from July 4’s show, and the latter part of the concert including Rock and Roll Star, The Masterplan, Don’t Look Back in Anger, and, of course, Wonderwall.
