Liverpool have confirmed their plans for a preseason return following the tragic passing of Diogo Jota. The Portugal international was killed in a car accident alongside his brother Andre Silva on July 3 in Northern Spain with the club and the wider footballing world left shocked and saddened.

Liverpool's squad is due to return to the AXA Training Centre for the commencement of pre-season on Tuesday (July 8), following the tragic death of Diogo Jota. Most of Arne Slot's first-team players attended the funeral of Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, in Gondomar on Saturday (July 5).
