Ukrainian air defences repelled an attack with hypersonic missiles on Kyiv at rush hour launched by Vladimir Putin ’s military, say defence sources. Air raid sirens sounded across Ukraine ’s capital as many people were heading to work or school.

"The enemy once again used its drones against Kyiv overnight!" Serhiy Popko, head of Kyiv's military administration, said on the Telegram messaging app. "Russian drones entered the capital of Ukraine in several waves and from different directions.
